Harrisburg is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Harrisburg is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Pennsylvania's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Words cannot describe this experience. We arrived without reservations (I somehow missed that in the descriptionβmy mistake!), but the hostess was incredibly pleasant and accommodating. While we waited, we enjoyed the beautiful artwork and the warm, inviting atmosphere. Both the hostess and our server were attentive and kept our drinks filled throughout the meal. I ordered the Creole shrimp and biscuits, and they were absolutely delicious. My daughter ordered the quiche, and after stealing a couple of bites, I had to order one for myselfβit was that good! You can truly taste that everything is homemade. On a side note, the chicken and waffles are vegan, featuring fried mushrooms instead of chicken. My daughter was hesitant to order them because she usually doesn't like mushrooms, but she ended up loving them!

Incredible tasting food from a very quaint, hidden gem. The empanadas were so flavorful and crispy! The staff was beyond polite, welcoming and friendly and gave us a brief history lesson on the restaurant and building. They gave us a complimentary mimosa to enjoy while we waited for our meal to come out and the orange cranberry flavor was super refreshing on a hot summer day. If we lived here we would be regulars!

Such a cute little place! Cozy seating and creative decor. Very friendly service from Estelle. We came for breakfast on a Monday. We were one of two couples there around noon. I must say we were not impressed by the breakfast. One pancake for $6 was tiny and undercooked in the center. My side breakfast potatoes had been cooked in FAR too much oil and were very greasy. Pork sausage didn't have much flavor. Eggs were cooked well but overall the food disappointing. Good coffee though! Private lounge upstairs looks fun if you are a member.

CODA ROUGE! I'm going to say this once and once only! If you have not visited this beautiful restaurant in Harrisburg I suggest you put it on your list immediately. The food, the ambiance, the service, were all top tier. When you visit your first time you are given complimentary mimosas, Brian & Estelle are a match made in heaven, they are attentive, informative, and just as polite as can be. The food was literally so yummy and we only got the classic breakfast. I cannot wait to come back for more yummy foods, and great conversation. This is the kind of restaurant you want to become a regular at! Thank you so much coda rouge.

What a great experience. Out of the 3 of us, there was not a single bad meal had. We went for brunch. I ordered the Braised short rib eggs Benedict. Outstanding. The free mimosas were a great touch and just hearing bout the history of the place was a treat. Being a young Black Aviator I found it intriguing that the owner is the Grandchild of one of the great Tuskegee Airmen! The interior of the building is decorated in classy fashion that makes you feel right at home! Even has a nice bar upstairs that I plan to visit at a later time! Definitely hit this place for Brunch at the least! Id guve it more stars if I could!!
